Great products aren’t built in isolation—they’re the result of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. By listening to customers, understanding their needs, and iterating with purpose, I help companies create solutions that scale.
When we work together, I become part of your journey, helping you and your team navigate the challenges of scaling.
Challenge:
Before app stores were even a thing, my team and I were on a mission to solve the "find me the nearest…" problem using GPS-enabled flip phones. Then, news hit about a revolutionary new device combining internet access, MP3 capabilities, and a phone. We saw an opportunity and decided to take a gamble on smartphones—despite lukewarm market interest.
Solution:
We developed an early MVP and launched it to friends, family, and a few well-connected investment bankers. I didn’t just stop at marketing—I dove headfirst into customer support. After casually offering my own email for feedback (lesson learned!), I began engaging with users directly. We created a "brand ambassador" program, where loyal users tested new app versions and gave us real-time feedback. It was the perfect collaboration between our users and our dev team.

Challenge:
One of the most exciting parts of working with visionary founders is seeing their groundbreaking ideas come to life. In this case, the product seemed like a clear winner—offering superior usability, lower costs, and innovative technology. But when it hit the market, the results were far from what we’d hoped. Customers struggled to achieve the outcomes we had promised, and the team found themselves stuck in a cycle of constant firefighting and iteration. The product wasn’t gaining traction, and we needed to understand why.
Solution:
We took a step back and reexamined the product from every angle. By collaborating across teams and engaging directly with customers, we uncovered key pain points and addressed critical issues. However, the deeper problem became clear: we had misjudged our market. The product, as designed, was a “nice-to-have” rather than a “must-have,” and the audience we targeted wasn’t compelled to change their habits to adopt it. To move forward, we shifted our focus to stress-testing the product’s value proposition with new audiences and uncovering where it could truly differentiate itself.

Challenge:
Scaling a product is never simple, especially when it begins as a highly manual “Wizard of Oz” operation. This product had incredible potential, serving a growing audience, but its backend processes relied heavily on human intervention, creating inefficiencies that limited growth. The team was ready to move toward automation but faced the challenge of maintaining quality while preparing for the demands of Series A funding.
Solution:
To tackle these hurdles, I partnered closely with the team, aligning product strategy with both short-term needs and long-term scalability goals. We introduced automation to streamline operations while ensuring that the user experience remained seamless. By collaborating across teams—engineering, marketing, and customer success—we prioritized improvements that balanced efficiency with customer satisfaction. Throughout the process, we focused on creating a clear product roadmap that highlighted what mattered most to both users and investors.
